Share this with your golf buddies: That cuts off a LOT of distance. Very long, very straight and easy to hit.

This HiBore is deadly, I missed only tkur fairway and still managed to parr the hole. Been using one of the tees for a couple of rounds now. I have an unusual setup … the 16 degree SuperLoft with a stiff gold shaft.

Cleveland HiBORE XL and XL Tour Driver Review (Clubs, Review) – The Sand Trap

The tokr I want is much higher than most guys think is optimum and this club delivers. Nothing wrong with that stock shaft, though…. Will update when I have played a few rounds.

He use to hit yards with a horrendous slice but now goes down the center.

My goodness but the XL is a fun to hit rocket launcher! What you have now is probably hibre best bet. From my experience with the XL, I would say the red in stiff flex would be the way to go. The face has enough vertical roll to it that you really affect the loft by hitting it higher or lower on the face.

Added a legitimate not guessing, actual rangefinder data 35 yards including the added roll. Could not hit it to save my life. In most reviews their is good comments about the club but in reviews about the Taylomade Burner the golfers seem much more impressed with their driver. I opted for the lower loft to get similar results to the Launcher. Try one is all I can say, especially if you tend to get a lot of spin on your drives causing them to balloon and robbing you of distance.

I recently shot a personal best 37 2 over due primarily to the drives. Notify me of follow-up comments by email. Satisfied that I had hit both clubs equally well I went to the fairway to see the results.

This club just has a nice hefty feel and the ball shoots of the face very fast. Been playing for over 30 years. Dave- Thanks for your replies. My 2 cents, everyone is different, as I did not get along with anything Callaway at all even with aftermarket shafts, ballspeed was not in the same ball park as Ping and Taylormade. I was told by the person fitting me that the XL is a very slight draw bias.

Is cleveland hibore xl ffp driver a conforming or non-conforming driver? My last driver, an FT3 was a good driver which I normally hit straight or with a small fade, but I did not like the sound or feel which did not change much between a good or bad shot.

Same swing speed with better shaft will get you out past Assuming the conformity problem was head size. I am 17 and been playing for about 4 months, about 3 times a week. I hit the 9. I have an extensive collection of drivers and this went to the top of the list immediately. Post your results when you get the club…….
